Reginaldo Haslett-Marroquin is the architect and engineer behind the leading regenerative poultry system. He and his family own and operate a 67-acre farm out of Northfield, MN which serves as the center for research and development as well as training for farmers, education for investors and market partners, and other critical functions. His approach to regenerative agriculture involves building biodiverse ecosystems of livestock and perennials, rebuilding soil, cleaning water and delivering economic benefits to the community. Goals of the model include the regeneration of farmland, the rebuilding of local food systems and the building of opportunities for young and immigrant farmers. A native Guatemalan and lifetime Ashoka Fellow, he was a founding member of the Fair Trade Federation in 1994. Regi was the founder and currently serves as President of the Regenerative Agriculture Alliance in Minnesota before that, he served as the executive director until recently named the CEO of Tree-Range® Farms.
